As the sole education provider to the Association of the United States Army, the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers AUSA members 130 degree programs in both undergraduate and graduate degrees.Students may attend evening or weekend classes entirely online, on-site, or in a hybrid format that combines on-site and online coursework.Members will also have access to UMUC certificate programs and may be eligible to receive credit through the university’s Prior Learning program.A UMUC education offers many advantages to AUSA members to include maximum convenience, flexibility, and a wide array of course selection.Students can enroll in online programs that fit with busy schedules.However, students who prefer a classroom experience can take courses in convenient locations throughout Maryland, Virginia and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area; Fort Bliss, Texas; Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; Fort Benning, Ga.; and Fort Drum, N.Y.UMUC’s programs are designed to provide students with in-demand skills and expertise that they will need to advance in their careers.The curriculum is continually updated to reflect the latest information, concepts, and practices in a variety of fields.UMUC courses are taught by experienced professionals.
