Christopher M. Chadwick is elected to AUSA’s Council of Trustees
The Association of the United States Army’s Council of Trustees elected Christopher M. Chadwick to serve on the Association’s council – AUSA’s governing body.Chadwick was elected to fill the unexpired term of Dennis Muilenburg who resigned due to his promotion to a new position at Boeing.Chadwick is the president and chief executive officer of Boeing Defense, Space & Security that provides integrated solutions to meet the needs of defense, government, space, intelligence, and security customers in the United States and around the world.Headquartered in St. Louis, the organization has operations in St. Louis; Southern California; Seattle; San Antonio; Houston; Philadelphia; Mesa, Ariz.; Huntsville, Ala.; the Space Coast of Florida; Washington, D.C.; Australia; Saudi Arabia; the United Kingdom and Korea.Chadwick is also a member of the company’s executive council.Prior to this, Chadwick served as president of Boeing Military Aircraft (BMA), a 20,000-employee mobility, surveillance and engagement, global strike, vertical lift, and unmanned aircraft business.BMA, one of the world’s largest providers of military airpower, serves the United States and more than 50 allied nations.It also supplies more than 4-percent of the planet’s defense aircraft, and continues to expand globally with steady growth in international sales.Aviation Week named BMA the top performing military aircraft business for 2012.
