Fort Leonard Wood leadership, soldiers, and families celebrated the Army's birthday last week. On the installation, the Army Birthday run had an incredible turn out with a cake, sponsored by the Fort Leonard Wood Mid-Missouri AUSA Chapter, cut following. 

Later that day, the Chapter also celebrated the Army birthday with the Missouri Veterans Home in Saint James, Missouri. Chapter members delivered cupcakes to residents, decorated the sidewalks with chalk, and had volunteers play patriotic music that was broadcast inside the building for residents and staff to enjoy. 

With restrictions lifting throughout the area, coming together and connecting with the community-on and off the installation-is building relationships with our partners following a challenging year.
