Chapter President, COL (Ret) Garry Patterson and VP for ROTC/OCS, Mike Zizza made a presentation to the graduating class of the Texas Army National Guard, OCS Class #67 at the Camp Mabry Texas Military Forces Museum, Hall of Honor conference room.

Mike Zizza and Garry Patterson gave a presentation regarding AUSA, highlighting the benefits of membership and value of AUSA to the US Army. The presentation was well received and a number of the office candidates signed up to become members of AUSA. Since these members are from across the entire state of Texas the new membership will benefit not only the Texas Capital Area Chapter, but also the North Texas DFW chapter, Alamo chapter, and Houston chapter. Not only did Mike and Garry provide a formal presentation, but we had the opportunity to visit and network with the new 2nd Lieutenants. Our chapter hosted a membership table and provided documentation and AUSA swag items to all attending this presentation.

This is the tenth year in a row that the Texas Army National Guard has invited us to share time with the graduating OCS class to promote AUSA.
