Mission: To support Soldiers, their families, and Army civilians, provide a voice for the Army, and honor those who have served.
Our Chapter provides opportunities for professional development, networking between Fort Leonard Wood and community leaders, volunteer opportunities, and assisting Soldiers and family members.
What We Do:
Collaborate with Fort Leonard Wood and community leaders to provide connections and opportunities for networking, fellowship, and engagement.
Take Soldiers each year to the AUSA National Annual Meeting in Washington D.C.
Young Professionals group as an avenue to provide value through professional development activities, leadership positions, mentorship with professionals in the area and networking.
We offer scholarships to Soldiers and dependents, volunteer opportunities, support local businesses/organizations, and recognize Service Members who are demonstrating excellence through the local Chambers.

Annual Golf Tournament
The Fort Leonard Wood Mid-Missouri Chapter of AUSA is excited to announce their golf tournament scheduled for August 26, 2022. The Chapter’s goal is to encourage the local community and its leaders to take this opportunity to interact with Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers and leadership on the installation.
The cost to play is $60 per person and the scramble will consist of four person teams. Included in the cost is 18 holes of golf, a cart, range balls, and dinner following the tournament.
2022 Chapter Dinner
Our Chapter Dinner was held Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Our guest speaker for the evening was, General Robert B. Brown, U.S. Army Retired and President and CEO of AUSA National. We hosted over 150 community and Fort Leonard Wood leaders as well as Service Members and families.
To all those who attended: we appreciate your support and engagement in our work serving Service Members and communities across the region.
AUSA Chapter honors heroes in Vietnam-Era Commemoration Ceremony
Service. Valor. Sacrifice.
Robert Fitzgerald stated his appreciation for the ceremony and recognition. However, at the conclusion, Fitzgerald stood up and stated that he served during the war but never in country and offered a round of applause and gratitude for those in the room who did as well as those who never made it home.
Fort Leonard Wood Mid-Missouri Chapter Supports Blood Donor Program
FORT LEONARD WOOD, Missouri – The Armed Services Blood Program serves as the sole provider of blood to the U.S. Military. This joint operation among service branches collects, processes, stores, and distributes blood products for service members, veterans, and their families both at home and in combat zones.
