The Mission of the Fort Liberty Chapter:
The Association of the United States Army is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving America’s Total Army, our Soldiers, Army civilians, and their families; our community partners, and supporters of a strong national defense. Fort Liberty Chapter provides a voice for the Army, supports the Soldier, and honors those who have served in order to advance the security of the nation.
- The Chapter educates our members, the public, industry, and Congress about the critical nature of land warfare and the Army’s central role in national defense.
- The Chapter informs our members, the greater Fort Liberty/North Carolina, communities and Congress about issues affecting America’s Army and the Soldiers who serve in the Regular Army, the North Carolina Army National Guard, and Army Reserve.
- The Chapter connects the Army to the American people at the national, state, and chapter level.
President's Message:
As a team, we have 3 primary goals as the AUSA Chapter supporting the Soldiers and Families of Fort Liberty who must maintain the highest level of readiness for deployment.
First, our AUSA Chapter will provide outstanding support to our Soldiers, Families, and units to help meet the needs of their mission, to recognize their service, and to help all involved to enjoy the benefits of a military lifestyle.
Next, our AUSA Chapter will reach out to our local community to educate, inform, and connect the citizens that our Army serves and lives beside to ensure we have their full support in creating a mutual bond to ensure mission success.
Lastly, we will execute our efforts to be the best AUSA Chapter in how we support our Soldiers, Families, and units and reach out to our community.
