MG (ret) Robert Halverson, Past President of the Texas Capital Area Chapter, joined Chapter 1919 Purple Heart Veterans in a luncheon to honor Vietnam Veterans on Vietnam Veterans Day.  The group also gathered with another loosely organized group of Veterans who have taken on the name of Brothers From Another Mother, (BFAM).  This group gathers monthly for lunch and enjoys the company of each other.  The owner of the restaurant who spoke with the group several times during the luncheon is an ardent supporter of veterans and their families.  At the end of the lunch he informed the group that the meal was on him.  Greatly appreciated and the group will return soon.
