Past President, MG (Ret) Robert Halverson of the Texas Capital Area Chapter was awarded the Military Order of World Wars Silver Patrick Henry Medal at the Summer Chapter Banquet. General Halverson represents our AUSA chapter with the Georgetown Military Order of World Wars chapter. 

The citation sites his continued service to the Nation during and after his retirement. He actively seeks to assist serving soldiers at Ft Cavazos at the USO and the transition services. He continues to assist veterans to be successful after serving as well as the veteran owned and operated businesses in Georgetown and Williamson County. He has been successful in the creation of the Military Affairs Committee of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the Veterans Business Circle. 

The award was presented by Chapter Commander, James Robinson, Captain USCG (Ret). This is an awesome honor for General Halverson and we are so very proud of his continued support and service to the AUSA - Texas Capital Area Chapter.
