Stoney Pointe High School, Round Rock, TX

On 10 May 2023, our VP/Liaison Officer for Army Futures Command, COL (R) Jim Orbock, made a presentation during the JROTC Awards ceremony for Stoney Pointe High School, Round Rock, TX.

COL Orbock provided comments and recognized the outstanding junior cadet with the AUSA Academic & Leadership Award. The most deserving cadet for the award of honor was Junior Cadet Alvin Le. Cadet Le received a medal set and an award certificate from AUSA Texas Capital Area Chapter.

The JROTC program at Stoney Pointe High School is a Navy and Marine program, but many of their cadets join the US Army after graduation from high school. This Junior ROTC program is one of the best in Central Texas. It was an honor to provide information about AUSA and the US Army as well as recognize the outstanding accomplishments of Cadet Le.
