During our chapter meeting on 1 November 2023, we conducted a special awards ceremony to honor one of our community partners for their continued support to the Texas Capital Area Chapter. 

Our chapter president, COL (R) Garry Patterson presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Scott Nolan, Army Programs Director, Austin Business Development Office, Boeing Defense, Space, & Security. The Boeing Company has been a community partner with our chapter for three years and every year has been a valued member and sponsor. The Boeing Company has provided valuable resources and support to allow our chapter to assist soldiers and their families in the Austin area as well as host event/receptions for Army Futures Command and the Texas Army National Guard.
