The Association of the United States Army’s Council of Trustees approved the AUSA 2013 Resolutions Committee membership at its spring meeting.Maj. Gen. Dave Kaucheck, USAR, Ret., Arizona Territorial Chapter was selected as the committee chairman. Assisting Kaucheck as subcommittee chairmen will be Lt. Col. Marc Jacobson, USAR, Ret., Redstone-Huntsville Chapter, and Col. Mike Neer, USA, Ret., of the Greater Kansas City Chapter.The committee will convene in Washington October 18 – 23 to compile resolutions which form the Association’s legislative agenda for 2014.The Resolutions Committee represents a cross section of the Association.Returning members are: Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Avery, USA, Ret., Omar Bradley Chapter; Sgt. Maj. Geri Wacker, USA, Ret., Last Frontier Chapter; Col. Robert Mentell, USA, Ret., Gen. Creighton W. Abrams Chapter; Lt. Col. Verl Miller, OrANG, Columbia River Chapter; Maj. James Burrows, USA, Ret., Arsenal of Democracy Chapter; CW5 Paul Amacher, USAR, Ret., Gen. Vessey Chapter; Col. Charles Guta, USA, Ret., Greater Atlanta Chapter; and Lt.Col. Dennis Morgan, USAR, Ret., Rhode Island Chapter.Joining the committee for the first time are: Christine Kauffman, DAC, Ret., Tobyhanna Army Depot Chapter, and Col. Mike Menser, USA, Ret., Utah Chapter.The council also approved a roster of alternate members from the group of nominees. In the event a committee member is unable to serve, a replacement may be named from the list of alternates.
