Fort Cavazos, Texas

Our VP for University and Education, Mr. Dave Berlad , attended the NCO Academy Graduation at Fort Cavazos on Wednesday, 13 December 2023. 

Mr. Berlad represented our chapter at this significant event. He shared time and spoke with, CSM Christopher Desierto, the Commandant of the Academy. Additionally he shared time with the III Corps Command Sergeant Major, CSM John P. McDwyer. The award and graduation ceremony was conducted in the large auditorium at Fort Cavazos. CSM Mario Terenas, the AUSA Deputy Director, Center for Leadership, was the keynote speaker who addressed the graduating class. There were 276 graduating soldiers and over 1000 people in attendance. The auditorium was full with standing room only that flowed outside the entrance doors. 

Our chapter continues to support NCO programs in both the active duty soldiers at Fort Cavazos and the Texas Army National Guard.
