Mike Zizza, VP for ROTC/OCS, presented a certificate of excellence and a gift engraved pocket knife to the Distinguished Honor Graduate, 2LT Dominque Anderson, during the award ceremony at the graduation and commissioning ceremony of the Class #67 of the Texas Army National Guard Officer Candidate School.

The ceremony was well attended with more than 300 military and family members at the Texas State Capitol Building auditorium. The guest speaker for this ceremony was BG Montie Ulis, Deputy Adjutant General of Texas - Army. The TXARNG gains twenty new commissioned officers for their organization.

Our chapter made a presentation the day before the awards/graduation ceremony to the new lieutenants. We discussed AUSA membership and benefits to the graduating class.
