M.C. Dean

M C Dean Logo

M.C. Dean is Building Intelligence®. We design, build, operate, and maintain cyber-physical solutions for the nation’s most recognizable mission-critical facilities, secure environments, complex infrastructure, and global enterprises.

The explosive growth of intelligent devices, embedded software, and ubiquitous networks; the demands for interoperability, reliability, and security; and the complexity and risk inherent in the Industrial Internet of Things require exceptional engineering and integration expertise.

M.C. Dean designs modular system architectures and physical components, simplifying complex cyber-physical problems. Our more than 5,200 employees on six continents engineer and deploy automated, secure, and resilient power and technology systems; and deliver the management platforms essential for long-term system sustainability.

Our Work with the Army

For decades, M.C. Dean has supported the U.S. Army’s mission worldwide in cyber-physical solutions, information technology, and infrastructure modernization across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. M.C. Dean provides electronic security, utility monitoring and control, military construction, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction, and facility maintenance services on behalf of the U.S. Army and other service branches. In addition, we work with Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) to provide infrastructure modernization, network modernization, information technology, infrastructure support, and audio-video support services.

Recently, we led the construction of U.S. Army hospitals at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, and Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning. In addition, we continue to work with various groups within the U.S. Army, including the U.S. Army Intelligence & Security Command, the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, and our military installations abroad in the European, Africa, and Middle East (EMEA) regions. M.C. Dean is also the Electrical Engineer of Record for the first-ever National Museum of the Army (NMUSA).

Our Capabilities

M.C. Dean provides multidisciplinary expertise, from facilities engineering, operations and maintenance to automation and information systems, ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency. Our Modular Mission Critical™ manufacturing facility is a product line designed and manufactured to enable customers to rapidly deploy, integrate, and deliver power, communications, security, life safety, mechanical, and automation systems - regardless of size and complexity - to any location worldwide.

We have over 74 years of experience harnessing data from automation, monitoring, and control systems to enable predictive maintenance, risk mitigation, operational improvements, and specialized service delivery for customers, clients, and partners worldwide. From Europe, our 160 in-theater engineers, technicians, and managers – with a surge capacity of over 250 employees – are working on-site on OCONUS projects around the world. In addition, our Stuttgart, Germany office has permanently stationed personnel with TESA authorization, TS clearance, and SCI access. Collocated customers are served by our 40,000-sq-ft secure engineering and logistics center in Stuttgart and multiple U.S. Army and combat command support offices throughout the EMEA region.

With almost 10% of our employees identifying as prior-service or reserves, M.C. Dean is dedicated to supporting the warfighter and improving the resiliency, sustainability, and readiness of U.S. Army installations everywhere.
