Welcome to Florida summer.

We had a great Army Birthday event and our Guest Speaker, Mr Allie Braswell, Jr, the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army left us with some very good thoughts about how we can help the Army recruit and make its numbers. Also attending was Florida State Senator Debbie Mayfield who issued a Senators Proclamation, recognizing the Army, AUSA and our Chapter for their service to our nation.

We welcome a new Community Partner, Range Generation Next.  Let’s continue to get the word out and build up our Community Partner relationships.

Right now I’m soliciting ideas for a Chapter Scholarship program.  I need your thoughts and participation to make this work.  One of our biggest challenges will be fund raising.

Registration is now open for the USA Annual Event in Washington, DC in October. Go to the National website at ausa.org for more information. If you are a Community Partner that will attend, the Annual Meeting, let Jim LeNoir at (fill in his new email address) how many tickets you need for the Community Partner luncheon.  This is a free event.

Our next GMM is slated to be in September, date and time TBD.

Our next EXCOM is 18 July at 6pm at Space Coast Intelligent Solutions, 3040 Venture Ln, Melbourne, FL 32934. 

As always, we need volunteers to step up and join our Board. No prior military experience is necessary.
