Redstone-Huntsville named Best Chapter at AUSA Annual Meeting
By Presley Price
Vice President, Communications
The local Redstone-Huntsville chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army was recently named Best Chapter (large category) in the nation for the 2022-2023 year. Of note was the chapter’s commitment to community partnership, community support, recruitment and veteran support. The chapter recently surpassed 51,000 members across North Alabama including basic, premium and associate members.
“I am humbled and incredibly proud of the members of this chapter who continually go the distance when called upon,” said Rhonda Sutton, AUSA Redstone-Huntsville immediate past president and AUSA Third Region President. “I’m grateful to our strong network of volunteers, leaders and community partners that empowered us to meet this accomplishment.”
The chapter celebrated the win alongside the Huntsville community at a hospitality night reception sponsored by Summit 7 Systems.
