The Association of the United States Army Redstone-Huntsville Chapter hosted the Army’s 244th Birthday Celebration Friday, June 14 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

More than 200 guests attended the dinner featuring Lt. Gen. Ed Daly, Army Materiel Command deputy commanding general and Redstone Arsenal senior commander.

The evening included a traditional cake-cutting ceremony and a recognition of the Redstone-Huntsville Chapter’s 60th anniversary.

The chapter received numerous recognitions and accolades from elected officials, including Congressman Mo Brooks, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill, Alabama State Representative Howard Sanderford, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, Madison Mayor Paul Finley, and Madison County Chairman Dale Strong.
