Lt. Gen. Charles T. Cleveland, USA Ret., commanded U.S. Army Special Operations Command for three years until his retirement in July. During his 37-year Army career, he also commanded from the special forces detachment through the subunified command levels. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
