SFC(Ret) David Sousa Acting President until the next regular chapter election in May of 2022. SFC Sousa has a long record of supporting veterans. In addition to being a former member of the Westmoreland Board, he is a Gold Legacy Life membes of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, long-time member of the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and AUSA. He is a former VFW State All American Commander. He has also served with the Nevada Committee for Employer of the Guard and Reserve and was named Nevada Veteran of the Month in April 2020 by Governor Sisolak.

Served in the US Army in several areas to include Berlin Germany, Mombassa Kenya, Somlia, Iraq and Afghanistan. 

David Retired as an AGR on October 30, 2015.
