Major Curtis D. Taylor is currently serving as the S3, 2d Battalion, 8th Infantry, 2d Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Military Art and Science degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. His military education includes the Armor Captains Career Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Ranger School and the Armor Officer Basic Course.Major Taylor has served in various command and staff positions including Deputy Chief, Joint Planning Group, Combined Forces Command-Afghanistan; Brigade Reconnaissance Troop Observer-Controller and Brigade Tactical Command Post Observer-Controller, National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California; Commander, A Troop, 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry, Camp GarryOwen, South Korea; and Commander, G Troop, 1st Squadron, 16th Cavalry, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He has published several articles in military journals and publications.
