Capt. Bruce H. Charnov, USN Ret., is an associate professor emeritus at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business of Hofstra University. He has published widely in rotary-wing aviation history and is the author of From Autogiro to Gyroplane: The Amazing Survival of an Aviation Technology.
