Angela Pubal

Angela Pubal joined the Association of the United States Army in May 2022. She serves as a Senior Program Manager for the Association’s Center for Leadership.

Angela graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She began her professional career at the American Association of Political Consultants where she served as the Marketing and Membership Manager. With a small team, she gained invaluable skills and experience promoting AAPC’s resources and events to all members through social media and email marketing. This is where her love for event-planning and program management was born.

Angela previously served as McLean High School Volleyball’s Head Coach and Program Lead from 2018-2021. She is extremely passionate about, and dedicated to, the development of young leaders and student athletes. Her next career move was a testament to this passion as the Assistant Dean of Student Life & Culture: Student Engagement at The Madeira School, an all-girls boarding school in Great Falls, VA. There, she was able to connect with, and mentor, student leaders while planning school-wide events for the community.

She is thrilled to combine her passions at the Association of the United States Army. She is especially enamored with the Center for Leadership and its focus on educating, inspiring and connecting leaders throughout the Total Army.

In her free time, Angela enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, taking beach trips, and exploring nearby hiking trails with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brady Dan. Angela and her husband, Jamie, a SSgt in the Marine Corps Reserve, have enjoyed over 11 years together as high-school sweethearts.
