Fairfax Lee Chapter Welcomes MAJ (R) Richard Hardie as VP of Young Professionals Program
The Fairfax Lee Chapter is excited to welcome MAJ (R) Richard Hardie as VP for the Young Professionals Program and Chapter Quartermaster. Richard entered the Retired Reserve as a Major in 2012, following 25 years’ service as both an enlisted soldier and logistics officer in the US. Army Reserve. Rich deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and Iraq as a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) Support Officer, as well as holding reserve assignments as a Headquarters Detachment Commander, 326th Maintenance Bn, 326th Maintenance Battalion S4, and Assistant S3 for the 9th TSC Special Troops Bn. On the civilian side, Rich has worked as a contractor for the OSD Business Transformation Agency (BTA), the DoD Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO), the Army Information Technology Agency (ITA) and the DoD Joint Service Provider (JSP). Rich is currently an independent Supply Chain and Logistics consultant and is in the process of completing a Master’s Degree in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife, Wanda. His hobbies include kayaking, University of Maryland Football and good cigars. Army Strong!
