Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew Lombardo, the Army Reserve’s senior enlisted leader, will speak March 6 during a webinar hosted by the Association of the U.S. Army.

The event, part of AUSA’s Noon Report series, will begin at noon Eastern. It is free, but registration is required here.

During the webinar, titled “Rebuilding the Army Reserve: Ready Now, Shaping Tomorrow,” Lombardo will discuss some of the challenges facing the Army Reserve, as well as some of the component’s recent accomplishments, as it prepares for the future battlefield.

A military police soldier who enlisted in the Army in 1985, Lombardo was selected in June 2020 to become the Army Reserve’s 14th command sergeant major.

He previously was the senior enlisted leader for the 200th Military Police Command at Fort Meade, Maryland, and he was the command sergeant major for the 99th Readiness Division at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

He has deployed to Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

In his civilian career, Lombardo is a deputy inspector with the New York City Police Department.
