54 Companies at SOFEX with AUSA

The 12th biennial Special Operations Conference and Exhibition in Amman, Jordan, includes 54 companies located in and around the 1,200 square meters of the USA Security and Defense Pavilion managed by the Association of the U.S. Army.

The AUSA team is led by retired Lt. Gen. Patricia McQuistion, vice president for membership and meetings at a four-day event that began with a May 7 conference and concludes with three days of exhibitions.

Known as SOFEX, the event features the largest fully-integrated Special Operations Forces equipment and solutions in the world, and brings together small medium-size companies as well as major international counter terrorism and homeland security manufacturers to meet with high-ranking defense officials and government decision makers.

The event is held the patronage of HM King Abdullah II at King Abdullah I Airbase. It includes more than 800,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space, six exhibition halls, 10 private hospitality chalets, purpose-built live fire and mobility demonstration areas and state of the art media center.
