App Access & Use Tutorial
The AUSA App offers a year-round source of information, networking, and collaboration - as well as event-specific support for our largest meetings: Global Force, LANPAC, and our Annual Meeting
In order to use the app, you will need to download the app from the links above, or access the html web app via your browser.
Download & Install:
The first step of using the AUSA App is to download the App or access it online. This can be done by clicking on the links above to the App Store, Google Play, or the HTML5 Web App version of the App.
Accessing the App through your browser will immediately take you to the active Event (Annual Meeting, Global Force, or LANPAC) if one of these events is occurring soon.
After you install the App, you will need to enter your email address and accept the terms of service. If you have already created an AUSA Mobile App account associated with that email, you will be prompted to log in.
If you are accessing the app through your browser, you will need to log in to your AUSA Mobile Account.
If you don't already have an AUSA Mobile Account, you will need to sign up for one. You can do this by clicking the 'Meant to Sign Up?' link under the login form.
You will next select the Event you wish to access. AUSA Connect is the year-round event connecting AUSA members to each other, while the other Events represent AUSA's major symposia and expositions.
As previously mentioned, accessing the App via the browser will take you directly to the next upcoming event, if live. You will learn how to switch events below.
Next, you may be prompted to allow push notifications and access to location data, depending on your operating system. Push notifications are useful for letting us keep you up to date with the latest information, and location data may help you get the most out of the app. Both are optional.
Upon your first visit to an 'event', you will also be prompted to set up a profile for that particular 'event'. There is an option to import profile data from your LinkedIn account, which is recommended
If you'd like to switch between AUSA Events, you can do so by clicking the 'More' button at the bottom right of the App in iOS or the top right on Android.
