Fort Liberty Chapter's Scholarship Program 2024 | AUSA

The Fort Liberty Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is pleased to announce that the Chapter’s 2024 Scholarship Program is now open. To date, we have awarded over $700,000 dollars in scholarships, and take pride in our ability to continue this program. This announcement supports our commitment to the Army and AUSA. 

Fort Liberty Chapter Premium Members, Association Members, and their dependents (to include children, spouses, and grandchildren) are eligible to apply. Scholarships are competitive and will be used for the 2024 school year. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the applicant’s account at the College or University. 

Eligibility:  Applicants must meet the following criteria:
·    Be a Premium or Association member of the Fort Liberty Chapter or an immediate family member (children, spouses, and grandchildren) of a Chapter member.
·    Scholarships are intended to support tuition costs and will not be awarded to applicants that have received full scholarships. 
·    Attending or accepted to attend an accredited, degree-producing college or university.
·    Provide a 250-500-word Persuasive essay (Word format) and Presentation format (5 slides) to answer the question: “How do you feel Artificial Intelligence will improve our society/community? Give your thoughts on how it will impact organizational leadership.”
·    Letter of Recommendation (1):  Academic, Extracurricular, or Community Service.
·    Personal Accomplishments Sheet
·    Certified Copy of latest High School or College Transcript. Include ACT or SAT score.
·    College or university Acceptance Letter or Letter of current enrollment.
·    Applications will be ranked on:
o    Academic Accomplishments
o    Extra-Curricular Activities
o    Community Service
o    Essay and Presentation slides
