The Utah Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a private, non-profit 501(c) educational organization proudly serving as the Soldier’s voice for America’s Army. We represent and support the entire Army family—Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and their family members.
With more than two million members nationwide, AUSA is the Army’s premier professional association and a strong, respected advocate on Capitol Hill. We are dedicated to supporting Soldiers, advancing professional development, strengthening national defense, and connecting the Army to the communities it serves.
Here in Utah, our chapter works at the community level to directly support Utah Soldiers, their families, local businesses, and the communities they call home. We strive to recognize and honor the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of our Soldiers and their loved ones.
We plan and present educational programs that enhance professional development and increase public awareness of the Army’s vital role. We actively identify and deliver initiatives that meet the needs of Soldiers and the U.S. Army. We also invest in the future by offering scholarships to the spouses and children of Utah Soldiers who are pursuing higher education.
In addition, we proudly sponsor and support meaningful community events such as the annual Memorial Day Service at Fort Douglas Military Cemetery, Veterans Day recognitions, the Utah Military Ball, and other programs that unite our community in gratitude and respect.
While it is difficult to capture the full scope of AUSA’s impact in just a few paragraphs, we invite you to visit www.ausa.org to learn more about our mission, programs, and the many ways we support those who serve.
Together, we stand with our Soldiers—honoring their service, strengthening their families, and building lasting connections between the Army and the people of Utah.
