The Texas Capital Area Chapter welcomes Danielle Morrissey to our Executive Board as VP for Young Professional Programs!

Danielle Morrissey is a member of the Round Rock Chamber’s Economic Development team and serves as the Director of Business Attraction. The Round Rock Chamber serves as the lead economic development organization for the city of Round Rock, Texas. Danielle leads the Chamber’s recruitment efforts in Round Rock’s target industries of Innovative Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences, Headquarters, Tech & Innovation and Aerospace & Defense.

Prior to her time at the Round Rock Chamber, Danielle was the Manager of Economic Development at One Acadiana, the regional economic development organization and chamber of commerce for South Louisiana’s nine-parish (county) region, known as “Acadiana.” During her three and a half years at One Acadiana, she promoted business attraction, worked with existing industry to retain and increase jobs, coordinated with workforce development providers and oversaw the implementation of strategic initiatives and programs.

Prior to her time at One Acadiana, Danielle spent four years working for Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition (LAGCOE), a nonprofit energy industry organization focused on STEM education programs and technical conferences. While at LAGCOE, she managed and developed their industry relationships and oversaw all aspects of programming.

Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from McNeese State University and received her Master of Science with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
