DESCRIPTION

The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Lee Chapter and LMI are hosting Networking 101 - a leader development program for professionals in all walks of their career. The program will be followed by a Social where attendees will have an opportunity to practice what they learned. Participants will also have an opportunity to learn about the Lee Chapter Mentor Program.

This event is FREE and open to anyone who wants to improve their networking skills or learn more about the AUSA Lee Chapter Young Professionals program. It will be held at the will be held at the Ten Strike Bowling Center on Fort Lee.  The event is expected to run from 5:30 - 7:30PM.

Important: If you do not have access to Fort Lee, visit the Welcome Center website ("Visitor Access" tab) for information on obtaining a visitor pass. Pre-register with Fort Lee's security office three days in advance to avoid lines.

About our Guest Speaker:

Sandra Hawthorne, Director of Communications for LMI, a defense consulting firm in Northern VA that supports the Global Combat Support System program office on Fort Lee. Besides heading up LMI's strategic communications and marketing, Ms. Hawthorne is also an Army spouse. She's an expert at marketing herself and will share some great tips and techniques for anyone looking to increase their network.
