Army G-4 Speaks at AUSA Coffee Series

The Association of the U.S. Army’s Coffee Series will feature Lt. Gen. Charles Hamilton, deputy Army chief of staff for logistics, G-4, on Dec. 8.

The in-person event will take place at AUSA headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. The event opens at 6:30 a.m. with registration, coffee and networking. Hamilton is scheduled to speak at 7:20 a.m.

It is free for military members, government employees and the media. All attendees are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks are optional.

Hamilton, who enlisted in the Army and was assigned to Fort Hood, Texas, before completing Officer Candidate School in 1988, has been the Army G-4 since April. He most recently was the director of operations in the G-4.

He also has served as deputy chief of staff for operations for Army Materiel Command, commander of the 8th Theater Sustainment Command, chief logistics officer for U.S. Forces Korea and commander of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia.

On three occasions, Hamilton held commands in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, including a tour in 2013 and 2014 as commander of the 101st Airborne Division’s 101st Sustainment Brigade.
