The Monmouth Chapter is pleased to announce the election of Mr Edward C Thomas as its President. Prior to his recent retirement, Ed served as a Vice President for CACI International, Inc from 2011 through 2017. Prior to his career with CACI, Mr Thomas spent 37 years supporting the Army's communications-electronics sector as a Department of the Army Civilian, the last 10 years as a member of the President's Senior Executive Service (SES). From 2007 through 2011, he served as Deputy to the Commander of the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) at Fort Monmouth, NJ. During the CECOM transition to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD in 2010, Ed was the senior CECOM official at APG. In 2019, Mr Thomas was inducted into the Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Hall of Fame. Ed and his wife Patricia reside in Ocean Township, NJ.

With Ed at the helm, the Monmouth Chapter can expect a renewed purpose with exciting and challenging ideas to energize its members and achieve the goal of being a "Voice for the Army - Support for the Soldier".
