During the period, 19 -20 June 2024 our VP for Special Programs and Industry Outreach, COL (Ret) Brian Cook, participated in two major engagements with Army Futures Command and the defense industry partners in our area.

On 19 June 2024, he represented our AUSA chapter at the National Security Innovation Council (NSIC) of Austin. The meeting was held at the Texas Association of Business location in downtown Austin, Texas. Additionally, we had a number of our Community Partners attend this engagement.

On 20 June 2024, COL Cook also represented our chapter at the Armed Forces Communication & Electronic Association (AFCEA) Alamo Chapter TechExchange Austin meeting. This was an excellent opportunity to engage with representatives from the defense industry to support our Army.

This is an example of the continued effort of our AUSA chapter to engage with organizations. Our goal is to inform and educate them about AUSA.
