Army Futures Command Best Squad/Warrior Reception

Texas Capital Area Chapter President, COL (R) Garry D. Patterson, attended a special reception at the home of CSM & Mrs. Brian A. Hester, Army Futures Command Sergeant Major. The purpose of the reception was to honor the participants in the Army Futures Command, Army North, and Army South Commands. There were 18 competitors attending this reception along with senior enlisted leaders from each of the commands. Additionally, CSM (R) Mark Cook from USAA attended this reception. The reception was well received by the soldiers and allowed a time for them to socialize and refresh from their challenging competition at the Best Warrior/Squad competition at Camp Bullis, TX. 

COL (R) Patterson had an opportunity to share membership information about AUSA with these soldiers and leaders and was able to encourage several soldiers to sign up for membership. Additionally, CSM (R) Mark Cook from USAA decided to become a community partner to the Texas Capital Area Chapter. This was a wonderful event and allowed 
the soldiers to relax and enjoy fellowship with all in attendance.
