AUSA Accepting Applications for 3 More Scholarships

The Association of the U.S. Army is accepting applications for more than $314,000 in national scholarships in 2024, with the addition of three full-ride scholarships from Trident University worth up to $48,000 each.

In all, there are 41 scholarships awarded by AUSA and six administered by the association in conjunction with the Army.

Scholarship applications will be accepted online until May 13. Those selected to receive an AUSA national scholarship will be notified in late June.

The Association of the U.S. Army is accepting applications for more than $144,000 in national scholarships in 2024, with 38 scholarships awarded by AUSA and six administered by the association in conjunction with the Army.

Scholarship applications will be accepted online until May 13. Those selected to receive an AUSA national scholarship will be notified in late June.

AUSA national scholarship applicants must be active AUSA Premium members, Association Partner members or their children or grandchildren.

The Association of the U.S. Army is announcing the award of its national scholarships for 2023 valued at almost $330,000.

Forty-one scholarships are being awarded to AUSA Premium members.

Three full-ride scholarships are awarded for Trident University, an accredited online institution offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees that gives credit for leadership and professional experience. Each scholarship is valued at $48,000.

The recipients are Tavia Smith, Sgt. 1st Class Nicholas Smith and Angela Hall.

AUSA Shares 2022 JROTC Scholarship Winning Essay

The winning essay from the 2022 Lt. Gen. Theodore G. Stroup Jr. Achievement Award recipient is available online. 

Named for Stroup, a former Association of the U.S. Army vice president of Education who is now an AUSA senior fellow, the program recognizes Junior ROTC cadets for their achievements. It also aims to “engage the next generation of Soldiers and DoD stakeholders at a young age, to promote their growth into mature members of the defense community and to build an awareness of the Association of the U.S. Army,” according to the association.
