Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council will host the 19th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. to honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces who have fought for our nation’s freedoms. The parade will feature marching bands, ROTC units, active duty military, decorative floats and veterans groups from all military branches representing a wide variety of conflicts. This year’s theme is honoring Purple Heart recipients and their families.
This year the AUSA Sunshine Chapter will be participating in the 2018 Orlando Veterans Day Parade on 10 November.
We need participation from the entire Chapter to include individuals, Community Partners and Supported Organizations.
Please consider joining us as we walk the streets of Downtown Orlando and show our pride and commitment to service. The total commitment from you will be about three hours beginning at 1000 for parade lineup, until 1300 when the parade ends.
If you can spare a few hours of your time on Saturday, 10 November, please contact Dee Jones, Chapter President, [email protected] or the Chapter Secretary, Harry Buhl, [email protected]
Thank you and we hope to see a great Sunshine Chapter presence at the parade.
