To all AUSA Sunshine Chapter members, this is a notice of chapter elections in advance of the Army’s 251st Birthday Ball in June.  There are two (2) chapter officer positions that are open for nomination:  President and Executive Vice President.  The qualifications are as follows:

Nominees for the President and Executive Vice President must have served a minimum of two years on either the AUSA Sunshine Chapter Executive Committee (EXCOM), or as an elected/appointed leadership position in another Orlando-based, military-centric non-profit (e.g. Navy League, AFA, AAAA) in one of the following roles:

• President

• Executive Vice President

• Senior Vice President for Programs

• Vice President for Operations

• Vice President for Membership

• Chapter Secretary

• Chapter Treasurer

Nominations for these positions is now open.  Please forward your nominations no later than 27 February to the chapter secretary: Tony Attales at email: tattales@avtsim.com

The immediate past president, Harry Buhl, will serve as the chair of the elections process.

Open nominations will also be accepted at the first membership event following mail in nominations deadline.  Voting will follow by electronic ballot matched to member’s email.  Please verify any updates to your email address prior to the close of the nomination period.

The new President and Executive Vice President will be announced in June at the Army Ball.
