ITC Leads the Way with US Army Veteran and National Guard Hires
In September, ITC welcomed US Army Major General John Epperly as President to oversee strategy, service delivery operations and business development companywide. Maj. Gen. Epperly, a West Point graduate (Go Knights!) commanded troops for nearly 30 years, including one of the Army’s 18 Infantry Divisions of nine brigades and 18,000 soldiers. Epperly is also a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and is currently commanding general of the 29th Infantry Division in the Virginia Army National Guard. With more than 25 years of business executive leadership experience and 30 years of Army experience, Maj. Gen. Epperly knows the balance between the two worlds and provides leadership to all, as well as personal mentorship to the many veterans employed at ITC.
ITC has a Diverse Cadre of Veterans
Former Navy Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Felicia Weigel says “As soon as I interviewed with Retired Lieutenant Colonel Bob Reeves, I knew that this was a veteran-friendly environment, and throughout my tenure I have seen first-hand the benefits of a veteran-heavy staff. We know how to work as a team, how to highlight our differences (Navy did beat Army!), and there is an unspoken understanding and respect that comes with wearing a uniform at one point that is reassuring in the civilian workplace.”
ITC is dedicated to creating job opportunities in the IT sector for US military veterans and their families. Providing expert training, our program helps veterans seamlessly transition into a sustainable and long-lasting career as an IT professional. We value the sacrifice of the men and women who provide service to our country. We go beyond traditional transition programs and support veterans in discovering their desired IT career path (https://www.useitc.com/careers/).
As the company is poised to grow, leveraging the experiences of the veteran staff positions them to be able to expand their portfolio and seek work supporting the Warfighter and Department of Defense.
