About Conflict Kinetics

Conflict Kinetics (CK), aka Gunfighter Gym™ (GFG™), is known as the industry innovator in human performance optimization (HPO) specializing in small arms simulation and featuring in-depth data collection for the life of the soldier via our Holistic Human Dashboard© (HHD©). CK holds 5 patents and 3 pending in the methods and processes of optimizing a human being rooted in decades of pro-sports HPO techniques and trade secrets. We have DoD-proven past performance as a unique solution provider for building individual, squad and platoon level capability in lethality, survivability, decision-making under stress and situational awareness.

The GFG™ has all the IWTS TC 3-20.40 qualification tables built and scored, and the SIM tables have been certified by MCoE. CK’s SMTS™ supports quick qualification train-up with 98% system up-time; saving soldiers both time and resources. The GFG™ capability is mobile, transportable, deployable, and ready to deliver at your Point of Need.

CK's evolving synthetic POI allows for rapid adaptation of Army’s new and/or advanced training goals and employs methodologies designed to exceed current marksmanship and threat recognition training - leading towards the cognitive and physical mastery of one’s environment and weapon system. These innovative methods, unique business model, and reputable culture earned CK industry recognition via the 2022 MS&T Magazine Simulation & Training Award Program’s Outstanding Innovative Product award; the 2021 NTSA Modeling & Simulation Award Program’s Education & Human Performance award; and finished as a finalist for both the 2022 MS&T Magazine Simulation & Training Award Program’s Small Business of the Year award and the 2020 MS&T Magazine Outstanding Service & Support Program award.

Effective & Data Driven Gunfighter Training

CK identified a direct connection between the pro-sports approach to improving athlete and team performance, and the military’s approach to improving individual and unit performance. Like pro-sports, CK’s methods emphasize ocular capability, reaction time, decision-making under stress, and are scientifically based, results-driven, and progressive in scope and difficulty. Soldiers exposed to CK’s ocular capability, neuro-ramping human performance drills and circuit training approach are empowered to optimize their ability to see first, react first and solve the problem. Extensive data is automatically collected as soldiers train and said data is maintained for the life of the soldier.

CK supports both synthetic firearms that are 1:1 in form, fit, and function as well as state-of-the-art weapon conversion kits that can be quickly and easily inserted into your issued weapon. CK’s weapon conversion kits produce full recoil via our compressed air magazines without any wear and tear on the weapon. The authentic functionality of our weapons allows soldiers to train with complete freedom of movement and intensity without creating negative training scars from unrealistic or notional steps. This means that soldiers can train with our synthetic and converted weapons exactly as their issued weapons. Immediate and remedial actions, speed and tactical reloads, and validated ballistic tables are all apart of the synthetic environment in CKs Gunfighter Gym™.

Our Virtual Training Capabilities

Our GFG™ improves confidence, shooter mechanics, and target acquisition time that transfer to live fire at a 95% rate and result in increased readiness in less time, with less ammunition and associated costs. The HHD©, with customizable performance and biometric data, delivers trend analysis needed to hone the program and enable leadership to make more educated decisions for training and resourcing needs as well as talent management. CK’s approach focuses on the direct transfer of skills to real-world situations, better-preparing soldiers for deployment. This process goes beyond marksmanship; it is applicable to any high sensory neuro- response task like IED detection, decision-making under stress, and vehicle operations.

Our open architecture is agnostic to any game engine/simulated environment, AR/MR/VR, and biometric monitor/sensor and is fully interoperable. We track to the 1-2 millisecond, and you can use your weapons and/or synthetic weapons in our systems. Our systems allow all Soldiers to shoot, move and communicate with NO tethers on our weapons; they will receive a physical and cognitive workout, all trackable via our HHD©. In addition to our proven training capabilities, we are an excellent Cognitive assessment tool.

Our GFG™ offers an ideal environment for both human factors and product testing & evaluation due to our extensive data collection capabilities.

Proven Results

Due to CK’s human performance approach to combat marksmanship training, the Marine Corps directed Marine Corps Operational Test & Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA), an echelon 1 testing and evaluation authority, to validate the effectiveness of CK’s ASALT, aka the Gunfighter Gym™.

MCOTEA’s system assessment report analyzed the lethality and speed of three distinct shooting groups 1) Live-Fire Control Group; 2) CK ASALT Group; 3) Advanced Live-Fire Group. MCOTEA found the ASALT-trained group ranked higher in shooter speed, accuracy, weapons handling, composure, and cognitive awareness than both the traditional live-fire and advanced live-fire groups.

  • CK ASALT Group finished 116% more lethal than Advanced live fire group
  • CK Group emerged ahead of other groups approximately 96% of the time
  • CK training is 6Xs more efficient than Live-Fire Training
  • CK ASALT (Gunfighter Gym™) is Viable Substitute for Live-Fire Training
  • CK Group handled more cognitive load and had better emotional modulation
