About MIOS
The Military, Intelligence and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is a shared services division of Chenega Corporation, a prominent figure in the government services contracting marketplace and the most successful Alaska Native Village Corporation.
Headquartered in Lorton, Virginia, Chenega MIOS provides standard business services and contracts management for 14 Chenega subsidiaries across the U.S. and abroad. Technical Assistance at Home and Abroad
Our mission is deeply rooted in supporting the mission of the U.S. military, wherever and however needed. Chenega MIOS proudly assists the Army in the areas of engineering, IT, technical operations and services, both in the continental U.S. and overseas, in locations that may occur during wartime and in hazardous environments.
We deliver systems engineering and technical assistance, IT, and subject matter experts providing technical support to satisfy the critical missions of Army institutions and their customers. Our technical support helps execute technology demonstrations, prototyping, integration, testing, training, fielding and maintenance of geospatial and C4ISR technologies for the Army, other Defense and non-Defense customers. These technical services help develop and field geospatial enterprise-enabled systems and capabilities to the Army and the Department of Defense, and provide direct geospatial support and products to warfighters.
We are proud to provide secure enterprise-wide information management and IT support services to the Army and its customers, supporting the Army’s largest public engineering, design and construction management agency in the world. Our work includes professional enterprise records storage support services to manage and preserve mission records, electronic and hardcopy.
In addition, Chenega MIOS helps enable the Army’s mission to provide food, clothing, shelter and air drop support for troops worldwide, providing IT support in application development, relational database management, systems administration, web applications development and administration, desktop support, information assurance support and network administration.
Supporting the Army’s Education and Training Requirements
The Army’s diverse mission requirements call for continued attention to specialized education and training. Chenega MIOS provides personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services required to provide foreign language linguist and analyst services in support of Army operations.
Our team is responsible for evaluations of capabilities and support capabilities; technical manuals; tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) and management of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF) requirements for sensor processing capabilities. We also assist with centralized management for training development, capabilities development and capabilities support.
Managed Services for the Army’s Medical Institutions
Chenega MIOS supports several branches of the Army’s medical directorate, whose primary mission is to ensure the readiness and care of the uniformed services and their families. These institutions lead military medicine through outstanding patient-centered care, innovation and excellence in education and research, with a commitment to outstanding patient experience through safe, quality, compassionate care for all served.
We provide comprehensive managed print services for the Army’s premier medical institution, including device maintenance, on-site staffing, and a fully integrated document management solution to streamline and automate workflow processes.
We are proud to provide IT technical support services for several Army medical institutions, including the Army’s largest biomedical research facility and world-class medical care healing centers. Chenega MIOS and our companies are responsible for implementing, configuring and supporting these organizations’ entire fleet of multifunctional devices, providing and maintaining all hardware, software and licenses necessary.
