Army West Point Black Knights Baseball opens its 2025 campaign February 14-16 at Toyota Field taking on the University of North Alabama Lions. UNA will host the three game series with games on Friday at 5 pm, Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 11 am.
Army is coming off a strong showing during the 2024 season, winning its sixth consecutive Patriot League championship and NCAA tournament appearance. Army head coach Chris Tracz says the team is “excited to represent Army West Point in Madison against North Alabama. From the first conversation about this series, it was clear this was going to be a first-class event by North Alabama, the Rocket City Trash Pandas, and the surrounding community. It will be a great opportunity to share the experience and grow the Army Baseball Family.”
That Army Baseball Family includes St. John Paul II Catholic High School standout Paul Andrzejewski, an infielder on the Army team. Andrzewski, a 2023 graduate of JP II earned First Team All-State honors before joining the Corps of Cadets. Members of the West Point Society of the Tennessee Valley are looking forward to a strong showing from local alumnae to come out and support the team. This will include Andrzewski’s father, also Paul, a 1994 West Point Graduate.
Tickets are on sale on the Trash Pandas web site at www.milb.com/rocket-city/events/una-army. Ticket prices are $10 for Field Level and $20 for SportMed Stadium Club.
