Phil Williams holds the Wesley W. Posvar Chair in International Security Studies at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and is director of the university’s Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security Studies. He has published extensively in the field of international security and is co-author of the 2016 Strategic Studies Institute monograph Military Contingencies in Megacities and Sub-Megacities.
