Michael Kelly McCoy

Commissioned in 2003 through ROTC, Captain Kelly McCoy graduated from Chapman University with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Peace Studies and Legal Studies. Captain McCoy has served three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan as a Military Intelligence Officer at various levels, including a Light Infantry Battalion, Combined Joint Task Force–76 and Multi-National Forces– Iraq. He is currently attending The George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School as a Master’s of Public Administration candidate with a focus on Defense Policy and Economics as initial training to become a Strategic Plans and Policy Officer (FA59) for the U.S. Army.
