Maj. Gen. James Pocock, U.S. Army Reserve retired

Maj. Gen. James Pocock, U.S. Army Reserve retired, served 38 years in Army and U.S. Army Reserve assignments. He was commander of the Army Reserve’s 300th Military Police Command in Michigan during Operation Desert Storm and later commanded the Army Reserve’s 70th Division (Training), Livonia, Michigan. In his civilian career he retired after 22 years as director of the Ingham County, Michigan, Friend of the Court office. He is a 1957 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.
