Maj. Gen. George A. Alexander

Maj. Gen. George A. Alexander, M.D., ARNG Ret., is a former commander of a medical detachment; the 116th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital; and the 136th Combat Support Hospital. He later served as assistant surgeon general and deputy surgeon general for the Army National Guard in the Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C.
