Lieutenant Colonel Chaveso “Chevy” Cook is a Psychological Operations Officer currently serving as a Division Chief on the Joint Staff, Deputy Directorate for Global Operations (J39). He recently relinquished battalion command at Fort Meade, MD. He is also a LTG (Ret) James M. Dubik Writing Fellow in its initial cohort. His education includes a BS from West Point, an MA from the University of Texas-El Paso, an MA from Columbia University and a PhD from Tufts University.
