Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle

Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle is the surgeon general of the U.S. Army and commander of the U.S. Army Medical Command, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He has commanded and served in key leadership and staff positions at every level, most recently as deputy surgeon general and deputy commanding general (Support), Medical Command. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Morgan State University, Baltimore, and holds master’s degrees from Central Michigan University, the School of Advanced Military Studies and the National War College.
