Lt. Col. Dave Owen, U.S. Air Force, is the U.S. Southern Command deputy director of the Manpower and Personnel Directorate, Doral, Fla. Previously, he served as executive officer to the SOUTHCOM chief of staff. He is a career EC-130H Compass Call pilot and has served in the Air Force for 23 years with officer and enlisted time, including combat tours in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve.
