Lt. Col. Daniel Threlkeld is a field artillery officer who in May completed a two-year assignment with the 4th Battalion (Field Artillery), 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In June, he became commander of the 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery Regiment, 75th Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He has had five combat deployments.
