K. Todd Chamberlain

Colonel K. Todd Chamberlain is a Maine Army National Guard officer currently assigned to U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s Army Capabilities Integration Center as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Army National Guard. In his 28 years of service, Colonel Chamberlain has served as an engineer officer and strategic planner in the active component, Army National Guard and Army Reserve. During this same period, he also gained seven years of civilian experience as a consulting forester and environmental consultant. He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Modeling and Simulation from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Maine–Orono. He previously applied natural systems concepts to understanding Al-Qa’ida growth in the article “Systems Dynamics Model of Al-Qa’ida and United States ‘Competition,’” published in Journal of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (2007).
